About the Electrum Web Wallet
The BitcoinZ Electrum Web Wallet is the Electrum light wallet as a web app. Open electrum.btcz.rocks in your browser and you can create a new wallet or import an existing one. There is nothing to download and no blockchain to sync.
What you can do
- Create a new wallet or import one you already have
- Send and receive BTCZ
- See your balance and transaction history
- Save addresses you use often in the address book
- Scan QR codes with your camera
- Switch language, display currency, and light or dark theme
Keep Your Seed Phrase Safe
Your wallet is saved in your browser, protected by the password you set.
- Write down your seed phrase when you create the wallet and keep it offline
- Never share your seed phrase with anyone
- Clearing your browser data removes the wallet from that browser, so make sure you have the seed phrase first
- To use the wallet on another device, import it there with your seed phrase
Use It Safely
A web wallet is loaded from a website every time you open it, so the address matters.
- Only use electrum.btcz.rocks and check the address bar before you type a password or seed phrase
- Bookmark the page instead of following links from messages or search ads
- Use a device and browser you trust
